Dear Neil

I wanted to thank you for your compassionate, gentle and non-judgemental chiropractic care for me.

As you well know, I tend to have quite an emotive response to adjustments, and even now I equate chiropractic care with a rush of feel-good relief and release.

I find when my spine is in alignment, my thinking and emotive responses are balanced and centred too.

I will never forget my first visit: after suffering from many many weeks of awful insomnia, that night after my adjustment with you, I slept for 12 hours straight - uninterrupted bliss - and then over the course of the next week and a half, slept deeply and woke refreshed daily.

Also, under your care, that has remained the case.

My other physical complaints were lower back pain and the occasional neck twinges, both of which your care has shifted, allowing me the freedom and flexibility to dance for many many more hours... hahahah.

I love that you are an unassuming and endless source of information and that you have invested such passion into your practice. I also find it admirable that you yourself are under constant chiropractic care, so you are living what you teach.

The gadgets are genuinely fascinating too - and a great way to read one's progress and state of being.

As a client, I leave restored and with renewed resolve to continue investing in my health.

And last but by no means least, I want to acknowledge the warm, open and engaging manner with which Pip interacts with clients and sets the mood of the practice.

The easy and relaxed atmosphere create a space which is pure pleasure to return to again and again.

Many blessings on you both and the work you do.

With love and gratitude,
Karen

I was apprehensive...

I was a bit apprehensive of what I had heard from others about chiropractors and didn't like the idea of having my bones “cracked”, in fact, I don't go easily to medical people, unless it is really necessary. My son had said to try Neil but I was feeling a little nervous.

But it was gentle and relaxing...

But what I found with Neil was that he is very calm, gentle and listens well. Going to him is quite relaxing and nothing like what I initially thought it might be.

I have had a bad year with flu, general aches and pains, and dizzy spells. When playing golf I found I was feeling dizzy when I bent over to pick up the golf balls and was struggling to hold the club properly with my arthritic thumb.

Never had dizzy spells again and my high blood pressure dropped...

I felt generally much better within a couple of visits and found I was walking tall and more balanced. I was actually not aware that my walking was unbalanced in the first place. I am now on a regular maintenance proactive program with him. By correcting and maintaining my upper neck area, I have never had dizzy spells again, and remarkably my high blood pressure has dropped. Neil also worked on loosening up my arthritic thumb.

Now I enjoy my golf...

I now enjoy my golf again, and even gripping my pen to write and using everyday things like clothes pegs, remote controls, turning door knobs, has much improved.

Spinewave Wellness Centre: Dr Neil Bossenger

I am 67 years old and I went to see Neil Bossenger, through the recommendation of my daughter, just on three months ago (with a gap of two weeks while we were on holiday). My visit was mainly to get some help with pain in my neck/shoulder that I had been suffering from since before I gave up work nearly three years ago. I had tried everything and nothing improved it.

I was quite dubious at my first appointment with Neil and also a little nervous as I had never visited a chiropractor before. My first impression was with Pip who was so lovely on the telephone when I rang for an appointment, her cheerful voice helped put me at ease. On arrival at the rooms, once again Pip was so very cheerful and friendly and I immediately lost some of my nervousness.

The first talk with Neil was very explicit as he explained to me what he does, how he does it and why and how the nervous system can affect all areas of our bodies. Firstly, I was sent off for an x-ray which I had never had done before.

My second visit was a shock when I realised how my spine was shaping up. Neil explained once again the effect that this can have on the nervous system and can be the generating cause of the many problems that I had spoken to him about. We then discussed the plan he was recommending for me in very easy but concise language. I was very encouraged by Neil’s certainty of how he could help.

During the course of my treatments with Neil I have seen (and felt) a great improvement of my overall physical wellbeing. My moods have been better, I am more relaxed with all aspects of my life, I am sleeping better and generally feeling fitter than I have for a long time. The pain I experience in my neck/shoulder area has improved so much I find it hard to believe I had not known about Neil so much earlier and although this treatment is on-going at this stage, as Neil said after four years of pain, I cannot expect a miracle in a couple of months but the improvement I have gained is just short of a miracle Neil !!

I would like to thank you Neil (and Pip) for the opportunity of visiting you and for experiencing the difference made in this short time both physically and mentally.

Yours sincerely

November 2009

My life is 300 % plus better than ever now and one must thank Spinewave for all their expertise and efforts this far on the recovery journey.

My story is…

16th April the right side of my body was in pain. I had up to 5 headaches a week and sleep disturbed. At times acute pain was experienced on both sides of my neck. When I walked my body moved in pain and posture was stunted forward. This meant shooting neck pains. Pain killers were my friends until I choose to act.

My general well being was hindered by a previous roof fall. Mentally I was living at a sub standard existence. My life energy was low and limited in movement of physical activities. My favourite sports were not attempted.

Today life is different; my posture has exceeded expectations of what is possible. I sleep longer and deeper and can walk up stairs without pain. I stand straighter and sit more comfortable in chairs. Recently I have begun lifting weights again and playing golf. Thank you Neil for proving what is possible.

24 September 2009

For the last few years I’ve suffered migraines on a regular basis.  These migraines have ranged from moderate pain and fatigue lasting half a day to severe pain and fatigue for 2 days which confines me to bed.  Because of the fatigue I tend to sleep a lot but of course there’s times when the pain won’t let me sleep and I have to wrap a scarf tightly around my head to ease the pressure.

I started coming to Spinewave at the beginning of this year – mainly because my friend Pip works there and she told me of the great results that she’d seen in people attending the clinic and suggested that I at least try it to see if it would help the migraines.  As I’d just come through a difficult Christmas period with suffering migraines every couple of weeks, I was happy to try anything.

The first adjustment that Neil gave me fixed the constipation that I’d been suffering from for most of my adult life. I’m sure anyone would understand and appreciate my joy in just that one thing.

Not only have I felt physically better, I also feel emotionally better and able to deal with the stresses that a fulltime job and a combined family bring.  This is what keeps me returning to the clinic.

But it’s not just the results that makes Spinewave worth coming back for.  Not only is Neil a true professional in both his approach and treatment, he’s also a great listener and a moral support.  And of course Pip has been listening to me for years already.  Her natural warmth and empathy for people, her sense of humour, combined with her professionalism, is a truly valued asset to Spinewave.

I still get the occasional migraine but they appear to be less severe and less frequent.  I’m hoping with continual treatment from Neil (and Pip!) that they will eventually disappear altogether.

To whom it may concern:

A little more than a year ago I was introduced to Chiropractic Care. I applied for the position of CA (Chiropractic Assistant) for Neil at Spinewave, and to my astonishment Neil took me on.

With this I started regular Chiropractic care with Neil. At this time I had no idea what Chiropractic care was about but with Neil as my educator during this time I understand very well now how important it is to bring ease to my nervous system and wellness in general. It wasn’t long before I realized my ability to cope with daily stress had improved significantly, and I felt so much calmer.

Seeing all of Neil’s clients come and go daily and being witness to the amazing changes with these people I have shared many of these miracle stories with my family and friends, so it wasn’t much of a surprise when my husband called me at the practice back in May and said, I think I need to see Neil. Having spent years going to Physio regularly, Ian decided he needed to try something different, and with my excitement about Chiropractic care he thought he would try it for himself. Ian, tending to be a little bit grumpy and not altogether very tolerant started regular care with Neil. Not once has he thought he might have to resume Physio, and like me he is a much happier person and manages stress with much greater ease. Neil also cares for my two teenage sons.

Because of Neil’s youth, his hunger for knowledge and is an avid researcher, I rest very comfortably knowing my family and I are in the best hands and will be for many years to come.

Thanks Neil.

To whom it may concern:

I first came to see Neil a year ago and what a journey it has been, from start to ...well for me there is no finish because as a result of this journey, I have completely changed my attitude to my health and that of my family's.

Initially my reason was a bad back problem I'd had for at least 10 years on and off however this time  I was in a lot more pain than I'd ever experienced with it and now being a mother of two there I was responsible for a lot more and didn't have the same time to lie down and rest as had worked in the past.

For some people there are instant miracles, instant relief and instant joy but for others, like myself I take heed of the words I have learnt  in the chiropractic centre " healing is not a process it is a journey".
It comes down to commitment. Commitment to yourself. Commitment to your health. I found this very frustrating to acknowledge in the beginning because I desperately wanted to be one of those "miracle people" but as time went on  I realised that I too had a huge part to play in getting better, moving to that "next level"! I realised that Neil could adjust and adjust and adjust, ( all doing me the world of good of course ) but without MY input, MY commitment to do MY bit towards MY health and well being, I was really hindering my progress and had come to a plato.

This is what I love about Neil's approach with chiropractic care. Not only has it been of the utmost value in helping me physically, i.e my back which has improved so much over the time, along with the endless headaches I used to have for years on a daily basis...I must say they have TOTALLY gone!....but mentally and emotionally Neil has guided me into empowering myself, - that I too have a reponsibility to exerise, change my thinking and learn to relax - ALL so very important and at times VERY challenging.

I still have days/weeks where I slip up and put everything else first but my body soon lets me know. I look back at how far I've come and it IS a long way. I am committed to regular chiropractic care for myself and my family and highly recommend Neil in his practise, along with Pip who is also a tremendous support ( and great at childminding which is so helpful). Coming to the Spinewave Clinic for a weekly adjustment is part of our routine now - it's my weekly maintenance!

To whom it may concern:

Why did I commence seeing Neil for chiropractic care?

For a number of years I had been suffering from aches and pains in my left hip region.  While on holiday in January of this year I started to wonder whether I should go and see a chiropractor.  At that stage I thought chiropractic care was only for “fixing” sore or stiff necks and/or backs.

Shortly after returning from my holiday, I received an email advising Neil Bossenger was going to be doing a presentation.   I decided to go along to learn more about what chiropractic treatment involved to determine whether it could help me with my hip problem.

Neil’s presentation was very informative and I realized chiropractic care was more about wellness rather than simply “fixing” sore necks and backs.   Although I thought I was in “good” health, I related to a lot of what Neil was saying about health and well-being and so immediately after the presentation I arranged to go and see him for an assessment.

After having a thorough assessment by Neil in early February, Neil presented me with a suggested treatment plan and I initially started seeing Neil 3 times a week.

What has been my experience?

My second visit involved a specific atlas adjustment, called a “toggle”.   Immediately after the adjustment I felt very strange and the strange feeling continued all day.   I found I could not concentrate at work and I had pain in my neck area.   However, when I woke the next morning I felt fine and have had no problems after any treatment since that time.   I was very impressed with Neil as he telephoned me the day after the first treatment to see how I was and as result of speaking with him I felt a lot more at ease about how I had felt.

In recent years I had been suffering from sinus problems and it had progressively been getting worse.  I had got to the stage where I was using a prescription nasal spray every day and was regularly taking antihistamine tablets.  I had accepted that I was a sinus sufferer and as such needed to take the drugs to manage and control the sinus.

However, within a couple of weeks of seeing Neil, I noticed my sinus problems had dissipated.   I stopped using my nasal spray and also stopped taking the antihistamine tablets.    Apart from a couple of minor sinus attacks since February, I have had no problems even though I am no longer using or taking any drugs.   Previously, I was suffering from sinus on a day to day basis.

In addition to my sinus problem clearing up, I also began to notice my stress levels had reduced significantly.  I feel a lot calmer in myself and as such am much better at handling stressful situations.   I am a lot more alert and have a lot more energy.     The pain and flexibility in my hip has also improved.

I am now having treatment once a week and although I do not notice the same amount of improvement after each treatment as I did during the first couple of months, I am aware my total well-being is continually improving.

What is my overall impression?

I am very impressed with the total care and attention I receive from both Neil and Pip and am still overwhelmed that my sinus problem has cleared up and how well I continue to feel since I began seeing Neil in February this year.    When I commenced seeing Neil, I never envisaged it would have improved my sinus problem.

I have moved from being a skeptic (mainly because I did not know what chiropractic care was about) to being a “convert” and can only thank Neil and Pip for this.

Spinewave Wellness Centre: Dr. Neil Bossenger

I commenced regular appointments with Neil some 10 months ago purely to satisfy curiosity as to both what he did and how it could benefit my personal well being.

Not seeing myself as a skeptic, but rather a person that is not easily convinced I set about making routine visits to the practice and have continued so for the past 10 months.

The experience has taken me somewhat by surprise, as soon as I walked into the practice I was greeted with both friendliness and professionalism by Neil and Pip.

The whole process was systematic but personalized according to my unique needs.. Neil explained what he does, why and how and also gave me thorough detailed explanations as to what plan would best suit my needs and therefore meet any expectations I had.

Since my first visit a constant pain in the left side of my neck down my left arm has gone completely. It is only now I realize how much this affected me, not only through pain but interrupted sleep patterns and also volatility in my mood.

I now find myself with more constant and consistent energy, no pain whatsoever and in general more relaxed about work, finances, family and other aspects of everyday life. The effect can only be described as profound and a totally positive experience.

The on going advice, support outside appointment times and also updates on current issues affecting Chiropractic care and the advances been made is highly appreciated and very informative.

Thank you for the opportunity to experience this first hand and for the differences made in such a short time both physically and mentally... long may it continue!

Dear Neil

I am writing to show my appreciation for what I have achieved with you over the past two months.

I came to see Neil at Spinewave Wellness in November 2008 because I was having a major problem with falling over, in fact 9 times in 2008 alone! I had previously been completely checked over by my GP who could find nothing to indicate why this was happening to me.
I am a 56 year old self employed woman who has always been fit and active and I found that my falling problem was causing me great distress as each time I would injure myself. My final and most major fall saw me injure both my knees, my right ankle, hip and left shoulder all of which were preventing me from playing my beloved game of Golf!

After doing initial tests, Neil could see the reason immediately as to why I had been falling so often. As you can imagine my spine was out and after several weeks of treatment with Neil, going three times a week he retested me and he was quite amazed at my progress.

After just a few weeks I was no longer experiencing ANY falls which is really great. I have also started to play golf again and am generally feeling a lot better in myself.

On my first and subsequent visits I have found both Pip and Neil to be very friendly and supportive. Neil is very professional and gentle in his care and manner and I like this approach. He also just seems to know what I need each visit. Another important factor is I am never kept waiting, as so often can happen. Appointments are made and kept to time and thanks to Pip she manages to fit me in when and where it's possible.

I have great admiration for the team at Spinewave, for the work they do and the help I have received already and would heartily recommend them to anyone in need of chiropractic care.

Yours Sincerely

5 to 6 months ago my body was screaming for help. It's agonizing pain was so troublesome and affected not just my health but also my personality and well being.

In October of 2008 I decided to consult with Dr. Neil at the Spinewave Clinic. He gave me the opportunity to listen more to my body and have a better appreciation of the nervous system and how it affects us in our daily lives.

Through the months I've improved and can say I'm healing. Dr. Neil has definitely helped me to achieve this state of good health. Amazingly, my posture has been corrected, my headaches are so minimal, my body is in it's happy shape. I was very glad and thankful when my Dad, who I haven't seen for a year, noticed the big improvement, and even he recommended that I continue my weekly visits to the Spinewave clinic.

I really like the personal and genuine approach at Spinewave. I enjoy the mornings with the radiant and warm smile of Pip and the assuring and caring hands of Dr. Neil.

It is truly a journey to achieve a body's happy state. But it is definitely worth it most especially when you entrust it to Spinewave Clinic.

Thank you so much!!!

Sincerely

Hi my name is Natalia Donald I am 10 years old ,I first went to see Neil after my Mum got feed up with doctors telling her that the pain I get in my legs and hips where growing pains.
I first started getting these pains when I was only little, I think about three or four, I have been in hospital not being able to put my feet on the floor because it hurt .The doctors took some x-rays of my hips, and said they couldn't find anything wrong , they told my Mum it was growing pains .After lots of years of being told this my mum thought she would try something else and was lucky to have a friend who told us about Neil.
I went and saw him and he told me about how he could make my sore legs better by turning on some switches that have been turned of for a long time. After going to see Neil for only a few weeks I haven't had sore legs.
Now I can play netball without having sore legs after and I run around more now and I don't get so tried.
Another thing that I didn't know he could fix was my sore tummies I used to get, they have gone to. I really like to go see Neil because he makes me feel lots better.

To Whom It May Concern:

I recently hurt my neck and shoulder due to a fall on ice and as they were not improving on their own went to see Neil Bossenger at Spinewave. I am very happy to report that in the three months that I have been seeing Neil, the shoulder and neck are almost back to normal and that in addition to these improvements I have also had a marked reduction in headaches and constipation. I intend to continue with my visits in order to maintain this improvement in my overall wellness. Neil and Pip provide a friendly and professional service that I would be very happy to recommend.

To Whom It May Concern:

Chiropractic Care under Dr Neil Bossenger

I have been seeing Neil for some 15 weeks and in that time have found his chiropractic care, service and professionalism to be of a very high standard.

At the time of my initial consultation I had been prescribed high blood pressure medication by my G.P. and was unsure about taking the medication due to possible side effects and the overall nature of how the medication worked on my body. In conjunction with Neil's advise I choose not to take the pills and trusted that Neil's chiropractic care would alleviate my higher than normal blood pressure, which at the time on my consult (7 Aug 08) was 142/98. Also at my initial consult the infrared scan of my spine was not a pretty picture due to all the life stresses I had been under for the last couple of years.

Neil's treatment plan had me initially on 3 visits a week for the first 8 weeks and then on 2 visits a week there after. After 7 weeks (21 treatments) we did a check of my blood pressure and found, very much to our pleasure, that my blood pressure was down to normal levels at 122/84 and that a subsequent reading at week 15 shows that my blood pressure remains at normal levels. Also my infrared spine scans have shown a continual improvement even though my life stresses have not improved and have even become worse.

I am grateful for the chiropractic care I receive from Neil and after each of my sessions I have  a sense of well being that is hard to quantify, other than to say I feel positive about my health and about being able to cope with the stresses in my life. I am sure that this will continue as I continue to receive chiropractic care from Dr Neil Bossenger and his team at Spinewave Wellness Centre.

I have no hesitation in recommending Dr Neil Bossenger and his chiropractic care to anyone.

Yours Faithfully

With reference to chiropractic care by Dr. Neil Bossenger on James Cunnington.

James was diagnosed with severe autism at 14 months, he is now seven. James is non-verbal, though he does have receptive language skills. He is not yet toileting himself consistently. He toe walks and constantly chews his sleeves. He has good eye contact, though his right eye roams. He flaps and has various other self-stimulatory behaviors and as well as a lot of diarrhoea. He has temper tantrums when his needs are not being met. Click here to see James' first scan.

ames started with applied behaviour analysis treatment at age two and continued with this for four to five years with only small positive results. He has had dietary interventions; gluten/casein free and supplements with no positive results.

James started chiropractic care around April 2008, and has had positive results.

Very quickly, his right eye stopped roaming, his diarrhoea decreased, and his temper tantrums decreased. After 1-2 months of care his sleeve chewing and toe walking has almost completely stopped. He has also had other several positive new behaviours including improvements and more awareness of toileting. Click here to see James' follow-up scan.

I would highly recommend Neil Bossenger. He is a highly knowledgeable, skilled and experienced chiropractor. He is very patient and understanding with autistic behaviours and has a good rapport with kids.

To Whom It May Concern

I started seeing Dr. Neil Bossenger and Dr. Graham Dobson at Spinewave in August 2008.  My history with chiropractors is a very lengthy one, having seen over 10 different chiropractors in various centres without missing even a week of treatment in the past 13 years.  My problem was one of chronic instability of the upper cervical spine and I had come to the conclusion that I would have to live with twice-weekly chiropractic visits for the rest of my life to manage daily headaches and migraines.

What interested me initially in Spinewave Wellness Centre was the fact that they were Specific Upper Cervical Doctors and I had been doing my own research on this kind of precise treatment, after some conversations with Specific Upper Cervical Doctors from the USA about my C0-C2 problems.

My initial care plan at Spinewave was somewhat different because I lived in Hawke's Bay rather than Auckland, so travel and accommodation was an issue.  I initially spent eight days in Auckland with daily visits to Spinewave where I had neck scans, Network Spinal Analysis and Specific Upper Cervical treatment.

I had never experienced Network Spinal Analysis treatment and, combined with the Toggle treatment which was also new for me, I started to notice immediate improvements in my health, in particular that my adjustments were actually holding.  I experienced no headaches or migraines during the initial eight day stay in Auckland apart from one on the very last day which was related to the stress of going back to Hawke's Bay.  It was obvious then, that from my first visit to Spinewave, my road back to recovery had begun.

My second eight day stay was in October and once again I achieved great results - no headaches or migraines for my entire time spent in Auckland having treatment and an overall feeling of well-being.  What needs to be understood here, is going eight days without a headache or migraine was almost unheard of for me, until I started treatment at Spinewave.  No other chiropractor in 13 years had been able to achieve that.  My normal length of time without a headache would have been approx 1-3 days.

Once back in Hawke's Bay, my chiropractor in Napier started adhering to the very same specific kind of chiropractic treatment that I had been getting at Spinewave as it was obviously working for me, and I am pleased to say I have been improving in health ever since.

I tapered off my nightly Amitriptyline medication, and have also reduced my daily dependence on combinations of Nurofen Plus and Panadol Extra. This will in turn help to detoxify the chemical build-up in my system.  I also haven't taken a single Imigran tablet since August.

I am extremely grateful to have been under the professional care of Dr. Bossenger and Dr. Dobson, and obviously am able to cope a lot better with life these days because I feel so well.

I have no hesitation in recommending Spinewave Wellness Centre to anyone seeking a specialist kind of healthcare.  This kind of care is vital for a better quality of life.

Yours Faithfully

To whom it may concern

Earlier in 2008 I had the extreme good fortune to meet Neil Bossenger. This lovely young man knocked on my door one day to introduce himself as the new Chiropractor in my area. His enthusiasm and positive attitude made me want to "give him a go". I had numerous "aches and pains" and it was time to do something about it.

He assessed me thoroughly and worked with me over several months and I started to feel much better. One by one my aches disappeared. I walked up Rangitoto on a school trip and was astounded that not only did my knee give me no trouble, but I reached the summit without my usual breathlessness. In fact I also have noticed that any minor cold I had last winter did not "go to my chest" as normal.

My temperamental lower back has never been better. My knee is no longer stopping me from walking, in fact on a recent trip to Europe, I managed many hours of daily walking with no problem.

The well thought out care plan also helped to ensure that my current serious illness was caught in time to enable an early diagnosis. Neil recognised that the symptoms of pain I was experiencing were abnormal for me and encouraged me to seek medical help. I turned out to have a brand new aggressive breast cancer requiring extensive surgery and chemotherapy, radiotherapy and hormone therapy to come.

From that time onwards we have moved into a different area of care. Neil and Pip have been there ready to help and support at every turn. My chiropractic care has been modified to what I can cope with and to the very important upper body nerves and spine. Neil has been incredibly gentle and carful doing only adjustments I can manage and yet he has kept me stabilised. While I might have expected to regress due to the limitations we currently have, on the contrary I am very healthy and experiencing no difficulties. I have now had 3 rounds of chemotherapy and I have done very well each time. During this period I have been seeing Neil twice weekly. Friends and family constantly remark on how well I look. I have no doubt that chiropractic is helping my body to cope with all the treatment I have and will receive.

I am extremely grateful for the care and attention I receive from Neil and Pip and chiropractic in general. I have no doubt that chiropractic is the reason why I feel so good in spite of my current difficulties.

Dear Neil,

Many thanks for your interesting presentation to our staff last week.

Your talk was informative and interesting and I could see from the reactions of the people present that many of your ideas and processes  hit home with them.

At a time when we are all racing around around like ants on a hot plate it is a good wake up call to consider how we are living and what stresses we put on ourselves, often unnecessarily. Your concepts are sound and definitely worth pursuing for those that are ready to make a change in their lives.

It was an extremely useful lunchtime lecture and thak you for your time and energy in coming to  talk to us all.

Kind regards

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

I'm 63 and two months ago decided that I couldn't put off loosing some weight and getting fit to enjoy life, gardening, golf and tramping among other things more.
I was getting very stiff from gardening, my golf had fallen back and tramping and long walks were put on hold as I couldn't comfortably cope.

I joined a gym and met Dr Neil Bossenger there when he was giving a lecture on Wellness  through Chiropractic care.

After about 15 sessions with Neil my eyesight improved, I can now read labels in shops, the telephone book and the paper without having to find my glasses which constantly seem to be in the wrong place, my golf has improved and I am feeling much stronger generally.  My toilet habits have improved and I no longer need to take any supplements.

I now take my two granddaughters to Neil, one is autistic and the other has severe allergies and dermatitis.  My 4 year old autistic granddaughter has had some improvements in behaviour and movement and the 3 year olds skin has improved out of sight and she is no longer having bed wetting accidents at night.

All in all, we are all very happy with the improvements we are achieving under Neil's care and cannot thank him and his team enough for their professionalism and help with our general health and wellbeing.

To whom it may concern:

I recently commenced seeing Neil. I had been a client of Graham Dobson for some time and for personal reasons had to cease my care. Over the course of two years, my old symptoms returned and I resorted to pain medication. I then developed severe tennis elbow in both arms. My doctor recommended physiotherapy. I tried this for a few months and found no relief at all.

I always realised the chiropractic approach to health is the best option in all respects so recommenced chiropractic care with Neil.

The improvement of the pain in my elbows has been considerable. This occurred after only a couple of visits. I am not taking any pain medication at all. I also feel better mentally and am able to handle stressful situations better. My family, friends and work colleagues have noticed a huge change in me.

At all times Neil has treated me with the utmost care and respect.

I am very excited about all the positive changes already and know that as I continue with the care I will achieve results that are even more positive and reach the level of wellbeing I was at two years ago. I highly recommend Spinewave to anybody who is seeking to achieve a high degree of mental and physical wellbeing.

I have been a client of Neil's since March of 2006, initially beginning to seek help for general wellness and to investigate ongoing problems with intermittent neck pain I had endured since I was a child. I had no prior experience with chiropractic health care, and was assured by Neil it would be life changing so went into it fairly open minded.

I must maintain that no doctor or health professional is a miracle maker, and a client is as responsible for their attitude and openness to treatment, in order to attain some kind of positive result. I have found that consistent adjustments over time, against some sort of instantaneous outcome, is what has been the mainstay of my own successful outcome of vastly improved wellness since being Neil's client.

Chiropractic care has become a routine that I look forward to and enjoy, not only for the ongoing benefits I feel with reduced physical discomfort but as much for enjoying being under Neil's care. I have not suffered with any severe neck pain as I would ordinarily once or twice a year, since beginning chiropractic care. I have been medicated for near on a decade for thyroid deficiencies, but was advised to discontinue a daily prescription by my GP after routine yearly blood tests showed my body is functioning perfectly well without them. I cannot prove it, but it's hard to feel that chiropractic might not have played a part in this.

For at least the last 12 months, I have enrolled my children who are 6 and 9 under Neil's care also, and find he relates well to children, getting down to their level where trust is established so he may care for them. The children enjoy coming along, and after some initial apprehension, feel confident during adjustments, predominantly as Neil is able to secure their trust make them feel okay. Since care began, their teachers report increased alertness with learning and both boys, who are a bit shy, have become more involved with their peers and appear more confident. In correlation with beginning care, my 9 year old's teacher noted he was a lot better at getting on task, which any parent of a boy will know can be a challenge at the best of times.

Beyond my friendship with Neil, I have found his bedside manner to be one that leaves me feeling self assured and confident I can be cared for with respect and dignity whilst in his care. He has a friendly and professional bedside manner and is always interested in assessing my ongoing health changes, and any life situations which may contribute to my health and wellbeing, as well as always providing helpful suggestions outside of the practice towards healthier balance and physical wellness.

I started seeing Neil in June 2008.

I had used chiropractic care for a large part of my a adult life with only short term results.

As Neil's approach to healing through chiropractic care was considerably different, and it fitted with my belief system regarding healing I was prepared to try his approach.

This meant that I saw him 4 times a week for a month, [the base program] and on every visit an adjustment was needed. I chose to stop the light medication that I was taking nightly for pain control so that I could monitor any results from the 'real' state of my body, not a body that was 'masked' by medication.
Actually the 'real' body state came as a bit of a shock as the medication left my system, it was really uncomfortable.

For the first 3 weeks or so nothing seemed to have changed significantly until I noticed that I was able to read some things without my reading glasses on. I had used them for 10 years to read almost everything. I can now read labels on tins and packets in the supermarket and instructions on pamphlets, advertising material and some books unaided. This has remained a permanent result of care that I have received from Neil.

By the time I moved onto weeks 5 to 8 of treatment seeing Neil 2 times a week, many of my symptoms had lessened in severity. I remain medication free and when we did the comparison examination I found that my symptoms had lessened by 70%.

I am now on the Intermediate program seeing Neil once a week, allowing further repair to take place and for my body to stabilize.

I am really thrilled with the results I have gained, celebrate that I am free of medication, and that my body has reached this state of wellness with Neil's professional and caring intervention. I am looking forward to further changes as we work together.

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

I have been receiving treatment from Dr Bossenger for the last five months and have found the service and attention always of a very friendly and efficient standard. Nothing is ever too much trouble and I have found it very easy to talk through problems with Neil.

My health problems have come about after many years of participation in active sports like squash, tennis and golf. When I started with Neil I was having lower back niggles, shoulder aches and neck stiffness. Through three times a week then twice weekly and now weekly treatments from Neil,  I have noticed the aches and pains have greatly eased and in particular, my recovery after playing golf is very much better.

I would recommend the Spinewave system of treatment to anyone with similar problems as mine and would assure anyone of a good experience and genuine help from Neil at all times.

Ref: Dr Neil Bossenger

I have been under the care of Neil Bossenger for nearly two years, and throughout that term he has not only provided ongoing care of a "continuous improvement" nature, but also reacted to a number of sports-related injuries including lower back spasms, hamstring pulls, shoulder dislocations and wrist injuries.

As a practitioner, I find his "bedside manner" excellent in that he is clearly evangelical about his art and this shines through in his enthusiasm and clear explanations as to the various adjustments being made. This approach has enabled me to build a great deal of trust in Neil as a healthcare professional, and  I have since referred many of my friends, all of whom have nothing but good things to say about the quality of care received.

I will admit that, having previously had disappointing experiences with osteopathic treatment, I was largely unconvinced as to whether chiropractic care would be of any benefit, but it is patently clear to me now that an ongoing care program is essential to my well being as eating  a good diet and sleeping well.

I would not hesitate to recommend Neil as a chiropractic practitioner.

I have started running again this year, as a challenge, and then I did something to my hip. I went straight to a physio, and found that a joyless exchange. My husband suggested Neil and chiropractic as an alternative. I also found another physio.

I have had a great experience with Neil as my educator. I loved the descriptions of subluxation and the disturbances that can happen when you're body is prevented from having a proper conversation. I expect the conversations that go on between my spine and my nervous system to be much more eloquent now. I enjoyed that it was a learning experience as well as a communication between Neil and myself. I am a bit nervous about the crunching I have heard about from other people's experience, so I asked Neil if I could avoid that. He was relaxed and agreeable to do that for me and I never looked back. Every session is easy and non-invasive. Almost like music.

Neil never had a problem with my physio appointments and worked with the changes that happened as a result of the muscle work she was doing. I have been able to run again as if nothing happened and turn up for a fine-tuning with Neil every fortnight or so.

If only my running goal was as simple!

To whom it may concern,

I have been a patient of Neil Bossenger for almost a year now and have found him to be conscientious and professional at all times. His appearance was always immaculate and his manner caring and supportive.

As an active 80 year old, playing Ten pin bowls twice a week, my health is very important to me. Neil has helped to keep me fit and mobile.

I have had a problem with  muscular tremors all my life and since having chiropractic care it has subsided significantly. Also I have suffered from lower back pain for a number of years and it has barely troubled me for at least 6 months.

Yours Faithfully

I wanted to regain my health and I have tried many other approaches, but all in vain.

I had been suffering from headache, swelling sensation on either side of the chest; stiff neck; back and lumbar pain; stuffy chest and caught colds quite often as well as heavy menstrual bleeding for nearly 8 years before undergoing wellness chiropractic care. Also, for several years I had been having palpitation-like conditions or sudden breathlessness; dry eyes and blinking frequently; sometimes even photophobia, resulting in reading or writing difficulties; having allergic reactions to ginger and developing rashes very often. Although I had a bowel movement everyday, my lower right abdomen had sharp pains very often. These symptoms did not improve by exercising or other methods.

After having wellness chiropractic care for a few months, all the aforementioned symptoms got better or were eliminated.

I would recommend wellness chiropractic care to others because it helps your body to regain health, both physically and mentally, by releasing stress and tension naturally.

Yvonne (age 16)

We hoped wellness chiropractic care would bring some improvement in her allergies, asthma and immune system function.

Since commencing wellness chiropractic care her asthma and allergies have greatly improved. In fact her asthma attacks have nearly stopped happening. She now seldom catches cold and she recovers her health quickly when she has a cold. Although Yvonne had daily bowel movements and lots of fruit and vegetables everyday her bowel movements had been dry and difficult since she was less than one year old. She had abdominal pain very often. After having 6 wellness chiropractic care sessions, the problems of the past 7 years have been completely alleviated. After continuing for several months, her introversion and timid condition has also gotten better gradually. Also, her body doesn’t curl anymore while sleeping.

Elizabeth (age 18)

We were hopeful of improvement in her allergies and asthma and her uncontrollable abnormal neck movements. She also had problems with her attention span and poor coordination.

Since undergoing wellness chiropractic care her asthma and allergies have improved dramatically. Her asthma attacks have nearly stopped altogether. The strange movement of the neck has gone. Dropping of rice grains during meals without realising does not happen anymore. Muscular coordination has greatly improved and she can now pay attention while learning and do her homework independently.

The benefits of care, for both Elizabeth and Yvonne, have far exceeded our expectations.
